Located within the Avondale Conservation area, this project required extensive structural reconfiguration to create a new double storey rear extension and side return, with the addition of a loft mansard and fit-out of three-bedroom Victorian end of terrace house.
The internal reconfiguration allowed a contemporary open-plan layout to be achieved diffusing traditional boundaries within the living areas. The new rear extension hosts a skylit DeVol kitchen where marble surfaces and brass fittings strike an elegant note, with the addition of Crittall doors and a polished concrete floor finish, creating a fluent interface between inside and out.
