 I had an excellent experience with Mikael and his team at Montrose Construction, who undertook major renovation works at my property encompassing new bathrooms, plumbing, electrics, wall reconfiguration, decoration.

Mikael provided a detailed and competitive quote. Where unexpected items arose during the project Mikael sought to find cost effective solutions to resolve them, which were always reasonable and understandable.

I was very happy with the quality of work / finished product from Mikael’s team, including where he suggested contractors (for example for a fitted wardrobe and corning / ceiling roses, which look fantastic).

At the end of the project Mikael’s team willingly and diligently resolved all snagging items, including kindly fixing up a couple of snags which were of my childrens' making!

Mikael’s team were efficient and polite at all times. They were also accommodating when we unexpectedly were faced with having to move into the property before the works were finished, which we greatly appreciated.

Mikael provided value add outside the scope of works. A couple of examples:

- Mikael identified that there was scope to widen an opening between two rooms relative to my architect’s plans. Mikael suggested this, interacted with the structural engineer to ensure it was feasible, and then delivered it. The outcome is vastly superior than it would have been without Mikael’s suggestion. This is a great example of how much Mikael cares about the finished product he is delivering - there were a number of other such examples of this over the course of the project

- assisting in the resolution of a dispute with bathroom materials supply company, which was caused by deficiencies in the products they provided
