Located within the Kensington Conservation area, this project required structural reconfiguration to convert a neglected five-bedroom apartment into a two-bedroom multifunctional residence equipped for urban living with the addition of an office, dressing room and media room.
With the focus on functional internal architecture, this turnkey renovation also included the infusion of rich, timeless characteristics that reflect the heritage of the building, such as grand arched doorways, an Avorio marble fireplace and custom-made ribbed panelling, interfaced with modern finishes such as limewash and tadelakt.
A warm, muted backdrop set the stage for globally sourced vintage pieces, and high-quality furniture and fittings by the likes of deVoL and George Smith.
